The Activist Mobilization Platform (AMP) is suite of hosted content publishing, organizing and mobilization tools built by and for social movements. Activist Mobilization Platform Features:

Robust Content Management System allows site changes, updates and expansion by non-technical staff. Features include document management, image uploading and size optimization, a search engine, blog tools, visitor comments, visitor submitted content, meta tag creation, navigational breadcrumb, printer safe articles, page recommendation, a site map, site wide hot words and WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editing. The content management system auto generates navigation and creates index pages based on content categorization. All content and modules are managed though a single interface with multiple permission groups, version control and roll back, and rich permission controls.
RSS/ Syndication Tools – These tools allow you to instantly aggregate, share and publish content from other websites using RSS feeds and XML. The tools also allows you publish your own RSS feed so that other sites can use your content.
Form Generator – Dynamically build complex forms for data collection. The form generator includes options for required fields, integration with 3rd party email system, easy data import and export, and multiple field types. Data collected by the form generator can be displayed to users, emailed to administrators, searched and exported.
Restricted Member Area – Create protected sections of your website that are only accessible to users with a login.
Links Directory – Categorize links and display them in related sections and on a links index page. Include link recommendation and image thumbnails.
Photo Gallery -- Photo gallery that can sort images by different categories. Gallery2 (http://gallery.menalto.com/) can be integrated into your site upon request.
Calendar -- This module allows visitors to submit events which are then sorted by region and event type. Events can also be updated by the poster through email verification. Includes an auto generated map of the event and a zip code proximity search tool.
Forum System – The full features forum system PunBB is integrated into our site, complete with user management, and threaded discussions. See (http://www.punbb.org) for more details.
Interactive Frequently Asked Question - visitors may submit questions, which the administrator will answer, and post on the site. FAQs can be sorted by topic and date.
On-Line Petition - allows visitors to sign on-line petitions, and displays the signatures and comments of signers.
On-Line Endorsement - allows individuals or organizations to endorse a campaign via the website, and display their endorsement on the web site
Web Action Center – allows visitors to send a pre written editable letter to a specified target via email or fax. Includes email subscription and tell a friend options.
Local Groups and Networking System -- allows users to gather, sort and post information in order to create a comprehensive searchable networking database of groups working on any given issue. Groups can be sorted by issue, region or other specified criteria.
Tell A Friend – a tool to allow visitors to promote your site to their friends.
Media Sign In – collects media contact information.
Ride and Housing Boards – Facilitate large event organizing transportation and housing with these self managed boards. Visitors can add and remove postings with or with out moderator approval.
Mapping Tools – Plot points on an interactive flash or Google map based on data from the form or calendar systems
Democracy In Action Database Integration – Integration into the powerful Democracy In Action tool from within AMP. This will allow all AMP generated forms and user information to automatically be added, updated and associated with groups in the DIA database. *(subscription to DIA required)
